Life lesson #675: If you leave 2 boys to play, they will make their own fun!Reese had his good neighbor friend over to play and they spent most of the day digging and making mud holes with a hose... After getting bored with that, they thought it'd be a great idea to wet down the driveway and.... sled down it??? Strangely enough, it worked!!! I would never have thought of this but they had the BEST time trying to figure out how to go the fastest down. The trick was to have a really good running start... who knew??
The funny thing was, they were so proud of their invention that it really didn't matter how much they "moved". If the sled went 5 feet, they were like "that was a GREAT one, this is awesome". By the time they figured out how to move 10 or so feet it was better than a roller coaster to them. Who needs water parks??? 
After the boys got their dry clothes on they BEGGED me for... hot chocolate?? Not exactly what I would enjoy after being in the 95 plus degree weather all day but.... why not?
Who says hot chocolate is just for the winter?? The logic makes sense, after sledding you drink hot chocolate!
