Friends for the 4th!

I loved this pic of Wesley... He is ALL boy and this captures that. He needs a bath daily b/c this is how he looks at the end of the day.

Ben and I love having friends over for the 4th! Its not often when we can hang out with friends and their families.

We have this area in our backyard that has become the digging and water hole. All of the kids enjoyed joining Reese and Wes in their fun. I have learned to be much more layed back in my life with boys...

We have known The Freeburgs for a long time. Ben has gone to school with Alisha since Elementary and played sports with Brant. Its so wonderful to have friends you have known for so long. They are so much fun, we love getting together with them!!

We also have a long history with the Manskes. We all went to school together and Ben and Todd played sports together. Now Todd teaches at MC and I have gotten to know Stacy through various mom things. They have a beautiful family of 4 kids and are so easy to hang out with.

Todd also went to MC but we have got to know him within the last 7 years or so. They have become co-workers, neighbors and good friends. Ainsley and Wes hang out a lot together as you can tell from this blog. They fight like brothers and sisters but truly love eachother.

The Coons family also came to our get-together but needed to leave early. April and I have known eachother since Junior High and it has been fun growing up together. She now has a beautiful family of 4 kids and her hubby works with Ben.

The grand finale was our home fireworks show at the end of the night. I think the kids had almost as much fun as the dads...
