For the last several years (or perhaps longer), these women above plus Missy Z (who hasn't been able to join us lately b/c of work) have been meeting regularly for playdates. By the way, that picture was taken by me holding the cameral out in front of us- not bad huh? The pic of Chris and I to the left was taken by her 3 year old. Our kids have gotten to know eachother well and us moms appreciate the social break. This one was special b/c Chris will be leaving us for CO beginning of June. If you remember, her daughter is the one who's birth I got to witness back in October. Chris and her huband Kevin are starting a marriage ministry in the Mountains of CO (check out the Mountain Haven blog on my list). I have been especially sad about this lately as the time is getting closer... I have known about this for the last 5 years but the reality is just hitting me. I have prayed for a friend like Chris my whole life and I struggle that she is now moving away. I have cherished the last 7 or so years with her and though our dynamics will change we will remain close forever. I will be visiting her hopefully this summer and I am sure on a yearly basis so you'll hear plenty more about them and their ministry. I love you dearly Chris- you know that though...

Kaisha and Lily, these are Colorado's future Mountain beauties. (Jermaine- I heard about your request to post pics of Chris's girls so these are for you.) :)
Ahhhhhh So many women.... Wes is going to miss Kaisha soooooo much!

Thanks so much!!!! And I think Lil is wearing Jenna's old "leg suckers!" They used to tease me that the suckers were so tight on Jenna and now Lil! SO adorable!!!!
I'm so sorry your friend is leaving, but what a ministry they will have. My goodness! I read almost their entire blog (well, quite a bit anyway) about a week ago... lost myself in it. I hadn't connected her as the same friend with the baby delivery you experienced. The goodbyes with friends are so, so hard... but she'll take a part of your heart with her, and I'm sure you will too. God has a good way of keeping friends close, even over distance. And... it makes the reunions that much sweeter. May God bless their CO ministry! And bless your friendship as well, Rae. Hang in there!!!
