Pray for this little one...

We've made some progress!! We have a picture, BUT, the glitch is they're calling it a 'preliminary referral' because we're still waiting on all the family members in Russia to sign off on her. They feel confident that this will happen shortly. In the meantime, we have a picture and a little girl to pray for. Please pray that things will go smoothly, logistics will get worked out and God's will will happen in all the details. If all goes well, we'll be making our first of 2 trips soon.... Everything takes so much time and I'm working on my patience!!
There is a beautiful rainbow outside and I couldn't help but take a picture. It seems so fitting.... God promises are always true.

PS- Isn't she adorable???????

My heart is full.

Your heart is full and my eyes are filled with tears of joy after reading this post! The old adage, "a picture can say a thousand words" is true but the emotions that come with this one must be overwhelming. We will continue to pray for you as you go through this process.

WOW is it ok to say she looks a little like Ben? Im so happy for you and her picture brings tears to my eyes for the gift she is. Praying she is waiting in the arms of Jesus with a perfectly content heart until you two go see her. Shes beautiful.

Oh my goodness... how awesome to "see" her. And you were right... she does look like your family already... I think she looks like Wes. We are praying for her and for all of you as you await her arrival!! I'm so excited for you, I could just scream! How exciting!!

Ow wow Rachel! She is just beautiful. I know you're feeling this reserved sense of hope right now. I am glad that you have such a great faith to carry you through this. I will be praying for the little girl, her birth family members and your family (hopefully HER new family!)

Rachel! This is so amazing to see this little face - so far away, but so real! We are praying for her until you can get to her & hold her yourself! The time it all takes is crazy & having to make so many trips there - but what a blessing you will receive when you are finally able to bring her HOME! So happy this is going well and we can't wait to meet her soon!
