I've been wanting to do this for a while so... over the weekend, I did some organizing in the boy's room. Ben helped me put up some new shelving (he says I'm addicted to shelves and by the looks of things, I guess I am). I moved things around to help their room work for them a bit better and I painted a chalkboard wall! They seemed to love the results. Wes couldn't get over the fact that I was letting him 'color on the walls'. Its been keeping them quite busy. The only thing is that they can't part with their amazing artwork by erasing any of it. So, they just keep adding to it.

Ben put up the rod so I could hang this striped valence, but he was a little concerned saying,
"There's no such thing as a 'boys' valence".
I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on that one. ;)

Awesome job Rachel! It looks so great. I've always thought the chalkboard paint was sooooo cool! And so what if you're addicated to shelving?! It makes everything look so nice and organized!!!
LOVE it! How'd you get the boys to choose such a great color?! My two are into brights and unfortunately I cave...
Oh. And Jaden just checked out the pictures. When can we come out?!
That rocks. I've seen that paint, but never known a friend who's tried it! It looks great - I'll bet the boys love it!!! And, yes, I do believe in window treatments for boys. LOL!!! Love you, Rae.
The room looks great Rachel!! You are sooooo creative. Love to all!
