I thought I'd share a "snippet" shall we say of today... So what do you think of when you hear April 10th? Singing with the tulips perhaps, cute little songs about April showers bringing May flowers, well forget all that. Currently as I write this, it is BLIZZARDING... yes, blizzarding. Not that I am bitter or anything but us Minnesotans here could use a break. I mean Winter started in November and it is now April. The beauty of white has long since lost its thrill. Sleds, snow pants, mittens, any warm article has been put away. Not b/c we haven't needed them the past few weeks mind you, but in hopes that the sun is right around the corner. No such luck. If you happen to live in a warmer state, please do not call or write me until nature has had her last laugh. I may say vile things that I truly do not mean and would not normally say if it weren't for the fact that my two boys and myself are in dire need of outdoor play and the smell of fresh air- not the kind that freezes your nostrils. Ok, I am done with this bitter entry now. I promise to be more uplifting next time. Pray for us.

You have stated what many of us are thinking! Thank you for wording it so well. The green of spring will be here soon - I hope!
Um... dare I even leave a comment? Love you!!! I'm so sorry... especially because you have boys... inside... with you. Hang in there! You won't take this spring for granted, right?!!!
I'm laughing, but not at you! I mistakenly whined the other day to some friends in Zimmerman about the "cold" we've had, but I am glad to now see your pictures! I just love the way you described it! You can laugh with/at me this summer when the 100 degree temps won't let up down here!
