As the weather is starting to get nicer (though now they say we're supposed to get snow tonight- don't ask), we've been itching to dust off the grill and make use of our deck. The first victims, I mean guests of the season were our good friends Kevin and Kristi and their 3 adorable kids (one on the way). The kids enjoyed all things outdoors... even found a frog by the river (see Kath, I do partake in creatures too). :) The picture of Wes running through the field cracks me up... he is such a boy- so rough and tough yet he can't stand to part with his 'binky' (his lil' bear blanky). Gotta love it!
We heard all about their new venture- 150 chicks they ordered through the mail! That's right, apparently you can order farm creatures through the mail- FYI though- the directions say to pick them up quickly as the mail people don't like the noise (or smell). Go figure! Needless to say, I had to invite myself and the boys over to their house to see this for our own eyes. Sure enough, 150 chicks living in the garage. They are awaiting the move to the coop currently under construction.

...and I thought 16 tadpoles was a lot. Look at those chicks!!! How fun for your kids. Rae, I always think Reese looks like Ben... the pic on the bike, his profile looks just like you. Pretty neat. : )
