Henry David Thoreau

I've always enjoyed this writer and have been reading about him lately... Here are a few favorite quotes: ~~None are so old as those who have outlived enthusiasm. ~~If a man loses pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music in which he hears, however measured, or far away. ~~Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.

-Henry David Thoreau

Rae, I love Henry David Thoreau too! This is one of my favorite of his quotes:
"I learned this, at least, by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams; and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours."
