It has long since been a tradition of ours to go to the State Fair with Mike and Robin. Ben graduated High School with Mike and ever since he met Robin in college, the 4 of us have always had a blast together. Unfortunately, they moved to Missouri about 9 yrs ago so we don't see them often but when we do, its like time has stood still. Its so fun to have friends like that. We got to spend a whole day with them at the fair and we basically laughed the entire day. Ok, we also ate a little... who are we kidding??? We gorged ourselves on all things horrible!!! Yet yummy. As tempting as it was though, we did not partake in the deep fried spam curds shown below. Who eats that stuff??? Seriously, we had an awesome day with our pals!!! Thanks Mike and Robin... and I believe I am speaking for everyone when I say we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of your blog!! Also, thank you Grandma JoJo and Grandpa for watching our boys and giving us this time without kiddos- they had a blast at your house!! :)
