A couple of weekends ago when Ben and I brought the boys to a movie and the boys BOTH loved it and sat through the whole thing... We realized t
hat we 
were entering a new phase of life... Coming out of the baby phase and into real life family of 4 phase. Ok, not that we weren't before but you know what I mean... We can actually start doing things together that we all enjoy, no one has to be left out. Anyway, the boys and I spent some time in Spicer, MN where my parents have a cabin and this realization became even more clear: Our boys are growing up!! Some "firsts" this weekend include: mini golf (Yes, the boys discovered mini golf and both loved it. Wes would get a little impatient and after a while, he'd pick up the ball and put it about 5 inches from the hole, but nonetheless, he got the concept.), Cars around a track (They both felt so big and proud of themselves.), dancing on a sandy beach to a live band (they got to show off their moves with GiGi), and last but not least; Wesley took a shower all by himself for the very first time! He didn't want to get out and has been asking me to take one since... Needless to say, we had a fun time enjoying all these 'accomplishments'. Thanks GiGi and Papa for all your hospitality, we had a great time.

Looks like so much fun! Someday I will have grandchildren to enjoy too! Hope I look as young as Terri does by the time it rolls around!
