The woman on the left is our interpreter Irene and she has been amazing... so helpful, so kind and just a Godsend. We've gotten to talk a lot about culture and life. She's become a dear friend to us. She is one of 2 people we know here that can speak English. The other person is the Alex, the Russian coordinator and he is in and out. The woman on the right, Olga is our driver. Driving in Kursk is kind of crazy, sorta like everyone for themselves. The people make it work but it seems wild to us. We are thankful to all the people here that are making this possible. Not to mention the family and friends back home. This effort is not done by us alone...
