This video is too amazing to not share... Videos take a long time to upload but the internet here seems to let those upload easier than pictures. Its from our first meeting when Ben and Nastya (in America, we will call her Eden) were able to bond right away. This morning we'll get to meet her for the 3rd time and later this evening we'll get to meet the youngest. And poor little thing will probably have chicken pox marks all over her. For those of you wondering, the time in Russia is 9 hours ahead of MN time. Last night was the first time we were able sleep a full 8 hours... travel throws you off. To get here, we had 2 planes totalling 11.5 hours of flying time w/ a 3 hour layover inbetween. Once we got off the plane, an English speaking driver met us and toured Moscow w/ us on foot for the next 6 hours. Its a city full of so much history... old, incredible buildings everywhere. At the end of that day, he got us to our train and we travelled 10 hours over night to Kursk. From there our Russian adoption coordinator met us, brought us to our hotel where we had an hour to get ready to go meet the adoption officials for an interview... and to officially choose the children we'd like to see. Quite the intimidating experience.... at least it was for, Ben didn't think it was bad. From there we went to the orphanage. The video above is shortly after we met Nastya. She loves to be loved.
