Amber recently made the decision to get baptized. Its neat how her church does it... They all meet at Elm Creek for a huge picnic and then they break up into small groups where the ones getting baptized share their testimonies (Amber's of course, made me cry). After that, everyone heads down to the water (while the swimmers are on their break) and then we all go in the water with the one being baptized. I got to do the baptism with her pastor and it was such an honor. I have been a Christian most my life and yet have never been baptized. I'm not totally sure why, but I really want to. Amber is such an inspiration to me in so many ways.
Love her dearly.
Afterwards we took the boys swimming since it was such a beautiful day.

Praise the Lord! Way to go Amber! How cool that you got to be such a big part of it Rachel! Adult baptisms are such awesome memories! One of my good memories from Prairie Oak!
Very cool - a public testimony of her faith. That is awesome, and how neat that she asked you to be a part of that, Rachel. Love the last pic too - of your three guys swimming - totally cute! It's so fun to see you at MC. Looking forward to getting to know you better now that I'm in town! ;)
