Christmas Eve!

I grew up celebrating Christmas on Christmas Eve night. So typically, we spend Christmas Eve with my folks. Our traditions include fondue for the meal and reading the Christmas story before the presents. This year was extra special for a couple of reasons, first- my brother is here from California! He may be staying here a while and its great b/c its been several years since we've celebrated Christmas with him. The kids of course love him and its just great having him close to us. The other new thing we added this year was a visit from.... Santa of course! The kids didn't know what to think when santa walked right up and rang the doorbell! Though I am pretty sure Reese had it figured out, they were both in shock. Remember when Wes asked santa for "Thomas the Twain"? Well, guess what santa got him.... Yep, you guessed it. Too bad PaPa had to miss santa's visit. I guess he had some errands to run or something...
Me and my two siblings- Tommy (yes I still call him that) and Amber
Listening to Ben read the Christmas story...

Rachel! I LOVE all of the shots. It makes me miss being with my family at Christmas...maybe next year.

Even more cute pictures! I love the solo shot of Santa walking away... "Darn reindeer got away again!" So cool he did that... I love making memories like that for the kids. Something they'll love to look back on when they are older.
