This past weekend my mom, sister and I got to go to the Women of Faith Conference in St. Paul. I've been a couple times before and its always so refreshing, funny and thought provoking (if you ever get the chance to go, I'd highly recommend it- they come every year around this time). This year was especially fun being with my mom and sis b/c its not often the 3 of us get to do things together. I also have to add that it was nice to have a short break... as much as I love my kiddos. We had a wonderful time together and even hope to make this an annual tradition. Thanks for the fun memories you two, love you both so much!!
The woman below is Sandy Patty- not a great picture but she gave a phenomenal performance. I also got to hear my favorite artist Nicole Nordeman!!! She did a mini concert and it was so moving. So in honor of that, I had to bring her music back to my blog...

Hey Sweetheart! You know I'm not a blogger (albeit a scoffer!) ... yet... I can't help but tear up at the thought of our time together. My precious daughters and I sharing a deep and most essential time ... together! I am blessed and wonder at the levels of maturity present in the two of you ... the offspring of an ever-so-young couple - eager to greet and make their mark on the world! I pray this will be 'our' tradition together and love you both and our son in ways that transcend human understanding. Ok, I'm waxing philosophical and need to quit. Just wait until YOU'RE '50'.
