I discovered Amazon has used books for sale... yeah, haven't ordered from there much so I never knew this. After getting a little discouraged trying to find good websites/chatrooms/blogs on adopting from Russia, I decided to give books a try. You might say I found a few. When I saw prices like 99 cents, I just started filling up my online cart. The only downside? You have to pay shipping on each order. Not so good. I didn't discover this until it was a little too late. Lesson learned. But the upside is its been like Christmas for the past two weeks! I've read several of the books already to the kids and that was really fun. I am delving into the information little by litte. I especially look forward to reading 'The Russian Word for Snow", a story written from a mother on her adoption journey.
Should be fun. :)

That is so cool Rachel! Good idea, too. I know the shipping thing stinks, but you're usually still getting a pretty good deal. How exciting!
How great Rachel! I love used books and used bookstores! This adoption will grow us all. This is my favorite adoption poem:
Not flesh of my flesh
Nor bone of my bone,
But still miraculously
My own.
Never forget
For a single minute:
You didn't grow under my heart
But in it.
I first saw it framed at a friend's house who was adopted. Hope you love it too.
By the way...your cutest blog ever page is almost as cute as mine!!
