Adoption...

Although there isn't much to report yet, I thought I'd write a quick note... Many of my friends and fam have been asking for adoption updates. Yes, its still in the works. Paperwork got put on the back burner during the holidays but it is priority now and we are working hard on our end to get things done in order for the home study process to begin. A lot of paperwork (references, autobiography, applications, Physician's exams, etc..) needs to be done before the social worker can come in, inspect our home, do interviews and formally make a recommendation of approval (hence the 'homestudy'). The paperwork and homestudy process will take up the next few months. With the fresh new year I am focusing and getting very excited to get on with this process. I will definately keep you posted!
