We are so excited this year to have our very first skating rink! We've always had this pond in the back but this is the first year we actually made use of it. We've already had boot hockey games with neighbor kids and R and W even tried out skating for the first time. I got out there as well and let's just say, I need practice... Gotta strengthen up the 'ol ankles. The other day it was practically blizzarding out and Ben had us all go out and shovel so the snow wouldn't get too heavy. We worked hard and felt good at the end. Its been a blast! A new yearly tradition.
Yep, I resorted to Ben's furry hat (not sure what they're called). Not too pretty but kept me very warm. ;)

I love the new pictures and posts! Welcome back! I'm not sure about the project 365...but I'm inspired to try. What a fun idea. David and I learned to ice skate with the girls at the same time we learned to snow ski. Of course, we went to ice skating rinks...so the ice was really smooth and I think that helps. I was thrilled that I could just stay up and go around the rink without falling! How cool to do it in the backyard!
