Big day today!! Reese was so excited to start school! He goes half days every day to Meadow Creek Christian School. I think that because it is half days, it hasn't hit me too hard emotionally. We're all ready for this! We think we are anyway... His teacher is Mrs. Coffland and our history with her goes way back... both Ben and I's sisters had her, she was my cheerleading advisor, her husband was Ben's basketball coach and my Math teacher, her daugter is Katie's good friend... ok, you get the idea. Small world and one of those full circle moments we get once in a while. Reese LOVES school, he is our little sponge. When I asked him how his day was he said, "Good, but I learned a lot of stuff I already knew...". Well, I know he'll be learning to read and will be challenged soon enough!!! And tomorrow, he'll be taking the bus home for the first time! I am a little nervous but he is thrilled!! Yes, I will be "one of those mothers" that will be following the bus home. Ok, in my defense, Reese will have to switch buses at a local high school... There will be lots of help but I am a little nervous. Anyway, I'll let you know how it goes but so far so good!! Today Kindergarten and tomorrow a Senior right? I hope it doesn't go that fast but just in case, I plan on enjoying every moment... And of course taking lots of pics along the way, hey-that's how I celebrate life!!! Good things.

YAY!! Tell Reese I said congratulations!! I totally understand being taught things you already know.....happens to me every day. Tell him it only happens to the best of us ;)
nuts that he's now going to 'our' school - not sure if I could handle that as well as you.
